OUR STORY
PirateArts Experience Resort was created to give people a new idea of what a vacation can be. This idea is inspired by the owner; a lifelong artist and rock-and-roll musician, who wants to bring fine arts, luxury, and adventure to our tropical island paradise here in Bocas del Toro, Panama. The resort has been open to the public since June, 2018, and currently has 4 oceanfront vacation apartments available for rent that have been thoughtfully designed to include everything you will need during your stay. Resort guests will love the kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and our amazing location on Isla Carenero. Bocas Town is just a $2-$3 water-taxi ride away, which is where you will find a wide variety restaurants and nightlife. Our resort is quietly tucked away from it all, but we are still close enough to make everything easily accessible. Our boutique island resort comes equipped with everything you need. Our rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. Air Conditioning, full kitchens, queen size beds, and private bathrooms are standard. We have one bedroom, two bedroom, and four bedroom suites, all situated inside a beautiful Caribbean garden. We are an oceanfront resort and we are also immersed in the jungle. Our views point to the west so you can watch the sunset from your balcony in the evening. We have stand up paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel gear, and an amazing staff that is ready to assist at all times. We are perfect for couples, families, and large groups, and also have a 200 seat over-the-water event space that often hosts live music and other community events. The only thing missing at our resort, is you!
THE BEST LOCATION IN BOCAS DEL TORO
Our resort is located on the western tip of Isla Carenero and is easily accessible by water-taxi from Bocas Town, but far enough away to give you that deserted island feeling. Surfers will love walking the short jungle trail over to Carenero Point, or jumping on a water taxi from our private dock and heading over to Paunch Reef or Bluff Beach. We are a great option for Scuba Divers that want to be close to the dive school but don’t want to stay in Bocas Town, and many dive schools will pick up and drop off from our dock for no extra charge! There are also a few restaurants and beaches within walking distance, as well as plenty of trails and viewpoints to explore around the island.
